The freaking Deutsche Post

It happened again the other day.

I go to the post to pick up a package and to send some Christmas cards that I had bought at KaDeWe and spent a fortune on them (but they were so beautiful...)

So after the "lady" was pissed off because she could't find the package, I give her the envelopes with the Christmas cards. And she says: "this is a foreign format". And I am like "pardon?". "Yes, the envelope has not been bought in Germany and does not have the standart format". "Ok" I answer. "But I bought them in Germany". "Aha, where?". "At KaDeWe if it makes any difference but please charge whatever you have to charge me even if it is a couple of milimeters over". AND SHE FREAKING DID!!!!

As I always say... welcome to Germany... :-P
